Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative and technical positions or career in Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam.
Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Senior Researcher and Project Assistant under the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) sponsored project entitled ‘Roll Out for Tea Garden Ecosystem Module’ at
the Climate and GIS Lab.
Name of post : Senior Researcher
No. of posts : 1
Emoluments : Rs. 25000/- + 10% HRA per month
Essential Qualification :
Masters in Sociology/ Master of Social Work / Geography/ Economics/ Environmental Science or relevant discipline with atleast 60% marks.
Desirable Qualification:
- Proficiency in Computer Applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs, Spreadsheets etc.)
- Very good communication skill (speaking, writing and reading) in Assamese and English.
- At least one year of research experience after completion of master degree.
Job Roles :
The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising overall project-related activities, which
include designing surveys and other methods of data collection, compiling data, preparing reports, and conducting frequent field visits. Also, the selected candidate will organize and lead training workshops and prepare training materials, etc.

Name of post : Project Assistant
No. of posts : 1
Emoluments : Rs. 18000/- + 10% HRA per month
Essential Qualification : Graduate in any discipline.
Desirable Qualification:
- Proficiency in Computer Applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google docs, Spreadsheets etc.)
- Very good communication skill (speaking, writing and reading) in Assamese, English and Hindi.
- Typing speed in both English and Assamese should be at least 25 words per minute.
Job Roles :
The selected candidate will assist the Senior Researcher in overall project related activities, including data collection, analysis, and report preparation. Also, the selected candidate will
conduct frequent field visits, organize and lead training workshops, and prepare training materials etc.

Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be held on 11th June 2024 from 10 AM onwards in Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Cinnamara, Jorhat-785 008, Assam
