Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ANRF-SERB sponsored research project entitled “Development and applications of compact higher order discretization of the Navier-Stokes and the Boussinesq equation in time varying domains” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Shuvam Sen, Professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences.

Essential Qualification: Consistently good academic career with a first class Masters’ degree in Mathematics/ Mathematics & Computing from a recognized University with valid UGC-CSIR NET/GATE or other equivalent qualification.
Desirable: Candidate having expertize in C programming will be preferred.
Fellowship:
Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees thirty-seven thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month (as per the ANRF-SERB norms).
Age:
Candidate shall not be more than 28 years on the last date of receipt of application.
Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Candidates may appear before the interview board that is to be held in ONLINE MODE whose details will be communicated later.
The selected candidate must produce all original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificate of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials, a recent signed CV, and research articles (if any) on the date of joining.
Original documents of the candidates will be verified by the Principal Investigator
