Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in Tezpur University Assam.

Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Student Intern in a DST-SERB funded research project entitled “Microplastic distributions in soils under different land use in Sonitpur district in the Brahmaputra Catchment” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Sumi Handique, Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Science. Tezpur University was established by an Act of Parliament in 1994. The objects of this Central University as envisaged in the statutes are that it shall strive to offer employment oriented and interdisciplinary courses to meet the local and regional aspirations and the development needs of the state of Assam and also offer courses and promote research in areas which are of special and direct relevance to the region and in emerging areas in Science and Technology

Educational Qualification: Students studying M.Sc. in Environmental Science.

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 25 years on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India rules.

Internship: Rs. 5,000.00 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) per month (Consolidated). No accommodation will be provided.
