Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a IKS Division of MoE@AICTE sponsored project entitled “A Conservation approach for Structural Heritage of the Ahom Dynasty through the intervention of Science & Technology (CASHAD)” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Nabin Sarmah, Assistant Professor, Department of Energy.

Essential Qualification:

Master Degree in Energy Technology/Engineering/Science or M.Tech/ME in Civil Engineering
or M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences with also NET/GATE.

Desirable: Candidate having experience in material characterisation and structural analysis will be preferred.

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand) per month.

Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview (offline) on a date to be notified later.

Shortlisted candidates may appear before the interview board with all original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificates of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials, passport size photograph, No-objection certificate (if applicable) and
a copy of recent signed curriculum vitae (CV) on the day of interview.

Original documents of the candidate(s) will be verified by the Selection Committee.

In case of online interview, the selected candidate must produce all original and self-attested photocopies of the abovementioned documents on the date of joining.
