Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in Tezpur University Assam.

Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Research Assistant in an ICSSR sponsored major research project titled “Locating Implementational Hurdles of Mother Tongue Based Multilingual Education (MLE) in the Indigenous Languages of Assam viz. Tiwa and Rabha, and creating Grammar Teaching Modules and Digital Corpora” under the Project Director Dr. Arup Kumar Nath, Assistant Professor, Department of Linguistics and Language Technology. The duration of the project is Six (06) months or till availability of fund or until further order, whichever is earlier and likely to be extended further for few more months subject to the availability of fund.

Essential Qualification:

Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Graduate in Linguistics/Linguistics and Language Technology or Allied Subjects with minimum 55% marks.

Remuneration:

Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees thirty seven thousand) only per month (as per approved emolument of ICSSR).

Age:

Candidate shall not be more than 35 years of age on the date of interview.

Upper age limit may also be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

A walk-in-interview will be held on 16/05/2024 at 10.30 AM in the Department of Linguistics and Language Technology, Tezpur University, Assam
