Applications are invited for recruitment of eleven vacant positions or career in Sports Authority of India Assam.

Sports Authority of India Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Young Professional (Legal). SAI is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, with the mandate of development and promotion of-sports in the country. SAI's main objective today is to achieve excellence in sports and train & prepare sportspersons to participate in international competitions. It has international standard sports infrastructure spread across the country along with trained coaches to achieve its objectives.

Essential Qualification : Bachelors of Law (LLB) from a recognized University

Desirable : Masters in Law from a recognized university

OR

Specialization in Sports Law

Essential Experience : Minimum 1 year experience in relevant areas

Job Roles :

1. To draft para-wise comments, counter affidavit, rejoinders, show cause notice, Contract, Agreements, also Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs)
2. Legal Opinion on various Sports related matters/ administration matters.
3. To assist/brief the Panel Counsel regarding various matters
4. To appear before various courts along with the Panel Counsel on requirement basis
5. To render all assistance to the officers of SAI in legal matters.
6. To keep abreast of the latest development in laws regarding sports/ administration matter altogether
7. To handle/ assist Departmental inquiries/ preparation of Reports also
8. Any other task assigned also by the reporting officer
