Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in Purabi Dairy Assam.
Purabi Dairy Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Milk Tester on contractual basis. West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Limited (WAMUL), Guwahati is working since 1981 in the field of milk procurement and dairy development. The organization at present have 450 AI centres. It undetook various projects related to productivity enhancement in the area. Union has successful implementation of setting up of AI network under APART project, adoption of AMCS at DCS level, extension and education programmes
like Balanced feeding, CMT and Mastitis prevention programme and popularization of Ethno-Veterinary Medicine, etc. Under National Milk Recording Programme (NMRP), milk production and its composition around 4.5 lakhs animals would be recorded by end of 2025-26. NDDB is assigned the role of Implementing Agency (IA) for this project. The project would be implemented with the help of WAMUL, as participating agency (PA) by establishing milk recording units having 45 milk recording centers in an identified area.

Qualification : B.Sc. (Chemistry)/ Diploma in Dairy Technology.
Experience : Fresher.
Experience in laboratory testing is desirable
Computer Skills.
Must have basic knowledge of using Internet based applications.
Age : Not above 28 years as on 1st January, 2024.
However, relaxation upto 3 years in case of extraordinary/ outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.

Salary : Rs.18000/- per month
Job Roles :
- Shall test all milk samples for milk components following the specified procedures altogether.
- Shall also arrange to clean the milk sample bottle.
- Shall arrange to dispense required preservative in all the sample bottles also.
- Shall also arrange to dispatch the required sample bottles to all milk recorders.
- Shall enter the milk component test results through Bharat Pashudhan app altogether
- Shall be exclusive and reporting to PC.
