Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in Publication Board Assam.

Publication Board Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Accounts Assistant (in the cadre of Junior Assistant) on contractual basis. Publication Board Assam  is a literary institution established by the Government of Assam on 2nd of May, 1958. It was formed under the aegis of Bimala Prasad Chaliha, Moinul Haque Choudhury, Debeswar Sarmah, and Suresh Chandra Rajkhowa, the then Chief Minister, Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Education and DPI respectively. A resolution moved by Moinul Haque Choudhury on behalf of Debeswar Sarmah, the Minister for Education regarding the formation of the literary institution in the State Assembly was adopted unanimously.

Educational qualification:

The candidate must be commerce graduate having minimum 50% of marks and must have diploma in Computer from Govt. recognised institutions.

Experience:

Minimum 02 years working experience in any Govt/Private organization altogether in the field of
Accounts.

He/She must have knowledge in Tally PRIME and also Excel.

Age :

Maximum age is 40 years altogether as on 01-01-2024.

Relaxation of upper age shall also be considered as per norms of Assam Government

Remuneration: Rs. 25000/- per month with minimum @5% of annual enhancement also of salary.

How to apply :

Candidates submit his/her application through Post/Courier altogether to The Secretary, Publication Board Assam, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati-21 and also ensure that the application is received in this office on or before 30.09.2024.

No application shall altogether be received directly in the office.

Application fee:

Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred) only which may be deposited in favour of the
Secretary, Publication Board Assam through demand draft of any nationalized Bank payable at
Guwahati.
