Applications are invited for recruitment of various legal positions or career in POWERGRID Assam.

POWERGRID Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Officer Trainee (Law). It is a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete Inter-State Transmission System.
POWERGRID operates around 1,77,790 ckm Transmission Lines along with 278 Sub-Stations (as
on 31st July 2024) and wheels about 50% of total power generated in the country through its transmission networks. It also owns & operates around approximately 1,00,000 kms of
telecom network, with points of presence in approx. 3000 and intra-city network in 500 cities across India. With its strong in-house expertise in various facets of the Transmission, Sub-Transmission, Distribution and Telecom sectors, POWERGRID also offers consultancy services at National and International levels.

Essential Qualification :

Full-time Three years LLB or Five years integrated Law/LLB course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University.

Candidates have to register themselves and appear for CLAT 2025

Upper Age Limit : 28 years as on last date of submission of online application

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

a) OBC(NCL) : 3 years

b) SC : 5 years

c) PwBD : 10 years over and above category relaxation

d) Ex-Servicemen/ Victims of riots : As per Govt. of India directives
