Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in Oil India Limited Assam.

Oil India Limited Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Contractual Well Logging Operator and Contractual Well Logging Assistant Operator in its Well Logging Dept.

Name of post : Contractual Well Logging Operator

No. of posts : 3

Qualification & Experience :

(i) Passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.

(ii) Passed 03 (three) years Diploma in any Engineering discipline from Government recognized
Polytechnic.

(iii) Must have minimum 05 (five) years post qualification work experience in Well Logging activities. Should have knowledge and experience to undertake any type of Open Hole/Cased Hole
Logging Operations, winch operation, shop calibration of Tools, Pre-job preparation and selection of type of tools required for different Logging Operations, first-hand knowledge on SOP relating to safe handling of Explosives and radioactive sources etc.

(iv) Should have a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License issued by Regional/District Transport Officer.

OR

(i) Must have passed bachelor’s degree in science Stream from Government Recognized University.

(ii) Must have minimum 05 (five) years post qualification work experience in Well Logging activities. Should have knowledge and experience to undertake any type of Open Hole/Cased Hole Logging Operations, winch operation, shop calibration of Tools, Pre-job preparation and selection of type of
tools required for different Logging Operations, first-hand knowledge on SOP relating to safe handling of Explosives and radioactive sources etc.

(iii) Should have a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License issued by Regional/District Transport Officer

Name of post : Contractual Well Logging Assistant Operator

No. of posts : 4

Qualification & Experience :

(i) Must have passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.

(ii) Must have Trade certificate in any trade of Diesel Mechanic/ Fitter / Electrician / Turner/ Welder / Motor Mechanic / Machinist Trade from Government Recognized Institute.

(iii) Must have minimum 03 (three) years post qualification work experience in Well Logging activities. Should have knowledge and experience in assisting any type of Open Hole/Cased Hole
Logging Operations, Pre-job preparation and selection of type of tools required for different Logging Operations, knowledge on SOP relating to safe handling of Explosives and radioactive
sources etc

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 4th July 2024 in Employee Welfare Office,
Nehru Maidan, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam
