Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in NIP Assam.

National Institute of Pathology (NIP) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career altogether of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) to be filled up on a purely temporary basis for ICMR funded project entitled “Analysis of MEG3 Induced Genome-Wide DNA Methylation Patterns in Breast Cancer Cells.”

Essential Qualifications:

First-class Master’s degree, including the integrated Master's degrees in Nanobiotechnology/ Nanoscience/ Chemistry/Life Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Biophysics/ Molecular Biology) from a recognized university.

or

Second-class post-graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees with Ph.D. in the
above-mentioned subjects from a recognized University.

or

First-class engineering graduate degree of four years in Nanobiotechnology /Nanoscience/
Biotechnology from a recognized University.

Desirable: PhD degree in the above-mentioned subjects altogether with experience in cell culture, noncoding RNAs, Epigenetics, Next Generation Sequencing in the field of cancer.

Emoluments: Rs.56,000/- per month + HRA (as admissible under the rules) per month fixed
without any other allowance

Age limit: Upper age limit is 35 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and female candidates as per
Govt. of India rules.
