North East Gas Distribution Company Limited (NEGDCL) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Engineer for a City Gas Distribution Project based in Tezpur, Assam. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of city gas distribution networks. Assam Gas Company Limited and Oil India Limited have jointly promoted the North-East Gas Distribution Company Limited (NEGDCL). This entity aims to develop City Gas Distribution networks and CNG Stations in six districts of the North Bank of Assam and six districts in Tripura. NEGDCL is committed to making Natural Gas widely available to the people in its authorized area at an affordable price. The availability of Natural Gas will create an ecosystem that promotes smart urban development, reduces carbon footprints and enhances the overall quality of life. NEGDCL aims to significantly enhance the socio-economic development of the region.

Qualification & Experience :

1.  Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil,  or related field).
2.  Minimum of 5 years of experience is desirable in City Gas Distribution projects.
3.  Strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations in the City Gas sector.
4.  Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
5.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration: Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.

1. Oversee the planning, design, and execution of the city gas distribution project.
2.  Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
