Namrup College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Assistant Professor in Zoology. Namrup College is one of the premier institutions of higher education in the easternmost part of Assam. The college came up in 1973 to cater to the needs of higher education of the entire industrial township as well as the neighboring tea gardens and villages. It endeavors to create a congenial educational environment and encourage the students for quality improvement, handwork, social awareness, and protection of the environment. The college is located near the industrial township of Namrup which has three industrial establishments. This township is surrounded by a large number of tea gardens and villages. Its location is at a distance of 70 km from Dibrugarh Airport, 3 km from Namrup Railway Station, and 2.5 km from the Public Bus Station.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational qualification and selection procedure will be followed as per Govt. O.M. No.AHE. 239/ 2021/ 68 dated 24.01.2022 and AHE. 429/2021/ Pt./3 dated 01-02-2022

Upper age limit : 38 years as on 01-01-2024 (Relaxation will be as per Govt. rule)
