Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in Kanya Mahavidyalaya Assam.

Kanya Mahavidyalaya Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Library Assistant and Grade-IV. Kanya Mahavidyalaya, the higher education institution for girls, is altogether situated at Geetanagar, Guwahati-781021(Assam). It has been imparting education upto graduate level since 16th September, 1977. The college has been altogether established by the effort of a group of educationists and social workers of Pub-Guwahati area which started its academic activities at Pub-Guwahati Girls’ High School and administrative activities at the residence of Suchibrata Raichoudhury, recipient of Sahitya Academy Award. Khanindra Chandra Barua and Suchibrata Raichoudhury were altogether the first President and the Secretary of the Governing Body of the college respectively. Noted educationist and a recipient of Padmashri Award Indira Miri was appointed as the first principal of the college.

Age Limit :

Age should not be more than 38 years on 01/01/2024.

However, 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 10 years for PWD and also 2 years for Ex-Serviceman is relaxed as per Govt. Guideline No. ABP.6/2015/51, dtd. 02/09/2020.

Candidates may send their applications in Standard Form (Assam Gazette-Part-IX) along with complete Bio-data and also self-attested copies of all testimonials.

Applicant must deposit for Grade-III of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred) and For Grade-IV of Rs. 300/-
(Three hundred)( for ST-H candidates Rs 200/-) only through Demand Draft Drawn in favour of Principal, Kanya Mahavidyalaya, payable at SBI, Gitanagar Branch, Guwahati-781021.

The application must reach the Principal, Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Geetanagar, Guwahati-781021 within 12th September 2024
