Applications are invited for recruitment of various teaching positions or career in Janata College Assam.

Janata College Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Assistant Professors. Janata College, Serfanguri is one of the premier higher educational institutions at Serfanguri, BTAD, Assam. It is 30 kilometers away from Kokrajhar, the capital of BTAD. The emblem of Janata College aims to reflect the vision and mission of the college. In the middle of the outer circle the name of the college is in capital letters and below it, on the pedestal, the motto of the college-‘knowledge is power’ is there. Some stripes of corn surrounds the outer circle. Corn symbolizes rural economy, prosperity and livelihood. In the middle of the inner circle a lamp is there on a lamp stand. The light of the lamp is a symbol of knowledge which will drive away the darkness of ignorance from this rural, tribal area and bring new hope and aspiration in the life of the people of this locality and outside.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational qualifications, selection procedure and age relaxation is as per UGC and Assam Govt. Rule.

PhD degree must be in accordance with the UGC standards and procedure for award of PhD degree regulations 2009.

Candidates having off campus Ph.D. in lieu of NET/SET need not apply.

Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in experimental Psychology (Psychological Practical) for the post of Assistant Professor in Education

Preference shall be given to the candidates belonging to BTR area.
