Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in ISI Assam.
Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of one (01) Project linked person purely on temporary basis to work on the internally funded research project titled "BigBayes ML Laboratory" at the Interdisciplinary Statistical Research Unit of the Institute.

Essential Qualification :
Either of the following:
(i) B.Tech./ M.Sc./ M.C.A. in Computer Science/ Electronics and Communication Engineering (or equivalent) having strong experience in programming with R/ MATLAB/ Python and having at least one full course in Statistics/ Probability at the minimum of undergraduate level.
OR
(ii) M.Sc. in Statistics with strong experience in programming with R/ MATLAB/ Python.
Desirable: Background knowledge in Machine learning and Bayesian statistical inference.
Salary : Rs. 30000/- per month
Age Limit :
Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 May 2024, with usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ differently abled candidates.
Age may be relaxed for exceptionally bright candidates with relevant experience.
