Indian Institute of Technology Technology (IIT) Guwahati Innovation and Development Foundation Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Chief Scientific Officer in a BIRAC sponsored project altogether entitled “Healthcare Bio-Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Encompassing Biomaterials, Industrial Biotechnology and Diagnostics.”

Salary : Rs. 40000/- per month

Qualification :

M.Tech. in field of life sciences with experience in working also with Incubators & Entrepreneurs.

The candidate should have experience in supervising the scientific activities like organizing workshops, training programs & scientific writing.

Job Roles :

CSO will be managing experimental lab related functions.

The CSO will troubleshoot problems related to methods and instruments used in the facility and assist in organizing and designing training courses to address technical challenges.

He/she will arrange and manage various events such as workshops, training programs, and hackathons to foster collaboration and innovation within the bio incubator community.

He/She will design and implement strategies and programs to mentor and accelerate resident incubatee companies.

The CSO will create SOPs to ensure consistency and quality in technical services offered to entrepreneurs.

Creativity is a crucial attribute for this role, as the CSO will be expected to devise innovative solutions to complex scientific challenges.

The ability to think outside the box and propose novel approaches will be instrumental in advancing our research and development efforts.
