Assam Career : ICAR NRCP Guwahati Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited for recruitment of various academic positions or career in ICAR NRCP Guwahati Assam.
Indian Council of Agricultural Research- National Research Centre on Pig (ICAR NRCP) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Young Professional-II (YP-II) purely on contract basis in NAIF Project at ITMU Section. The mid term appraisal committee constituted by ICAR in 1990 to review the work of the All India Coordinated Centres on Pig recommended the establishment of one National Research Centre on Pig preferably in the North Eastern part of the country where 28% altogether of country's pig population is distributed. Following the recommendation, ICAR approved the establishment of one NRC on pig at Rani, Guwahati, Assam towards the fag end of the IX five year plan. All existing AICRP centres were altogether merged with the NRC and the post of project coordinator was upgraded to the position of Director.

Qualifications:
A. Master’s degree in any branch of Life Science or Veterinary Science (M.Sc./M.V.Sc) from a recognized University/college
B. Desirable: Experience and expertise in intellectual property right (IPR) related matters
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (Age relaxation also as per ICAR/GoI guidelines)
Emoluments : Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 42,000/-per month
