Gauhati High Court Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Computer Assistant in the Principal Seat and Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service.

Qualification :
- Must be a Graduate from a recognized University
- Must have minimum Diploma / Certificate in Computer Operation / Applications of atleast six months duration. The candidate must have received training in execution of works such as data entry and DTP works, basic hardware maintenance including installation of various devices like printers, scanners etc., setting up and configuring LAN, using utilities, application software, Web designing and Web based application software as well as Web based applications of computers.

Name of post : Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service
No. of posts : 12
Qualification :
i) Must be holder of Degree in Law from a recognized University.
ii) Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have been so practicing for a period of not less than 7 (seven) years as on such date. [Will have to provide certificate of continuous practice issued by competent authority (BAR(s) in which the candidate is practicing) at the time of document verification].

Computer Assistant : Rs. 500/- for OBC / MOBC candidates, Rs. 250/- for ST (P) / ST(H), Nil for PwBD. Last date for payment of fees is 27th November 2024
Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service : Rs. 500/- for SC / ST candidates, Rs. 1000/- for all others, Nil for PwBD. Last date for payment of fees is 19th November 2024
