Applications are invited for recruitment of various research based positions or career in DRDO Assam.

The Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) of Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules).

Essential Qualification:

B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg in First Division with Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Information Technology [Paper code : CS]

Desirable: Computer Network, NMS, VA/PT, Linux & Windows System Administration, Shell scripting, Web & Database Services (PHP & SQL) and Information Security related web programming skills.

Equivalent acceptable subjects of Essential Qualification Degree-

1. Computer Science/ Engg/ Technology
2. Computer Science and Engg/Technology
3. Computer Science/Engg & Info Tech
4. Computer Science & System Engg
5. Software Engg/ Technology
6. Computer Science & Automation Engg/ Tech
7. Information Technology
8. Computer Science/Technology & Informatics Engg/Tech
9. Information Science & Engg/Technology
10. Computer & Communicat.ion Engg
11. Computer Networking
12. Information Technology & Mathematical Innovations
13. Any other relevant discipline with qualifying degree
    which mentions ‘Computer Science’ as the main discipline

Fellowship : Rs.37,000/- per month with applicable HRA and medical facilities as per rules

Age Limit:

Not exceeding 28 years as on the closing date of Advertisement.

The upper age limit shall be relaxable for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribes and OBC as per Govt. of India orders.

Selection process:

Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview on the basis of GATE score.

The selection committee shall interview candidates to assess their aptitude for research work, clarity of concepts, analytical reasoning, capacity to application of knowledge etc.
