Dibrugarh University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Research Assistants in an ICSSR funded Project titled “Puranic Traditions, Sacred Spaces and Folk Practices in Assam” in the Department of History. Dibrugarh University is the easternmost University in India. It altogether came into being in 1965 consequent upon the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is also a leading research and innovation driven University that acts as a spatial slot to configure the socio-cultural dynamics of North East India. Minimum Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Post Graduate in a Social Science discipline with minimum 55% of marks
Candidates must also pass either NET/ MPhil / PhD
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees Thirty-Seven Thousand only)
