Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in Dibrugarh University Assam.

Dibrugarh University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) under the small grant project entitled "Socio-Cultural Determinants, Community Awareness, Treatment And Rehabilitation Of Patients Of Substance Use Disorder (Sud) In Assam And Arunachal Pradesh."

Name of post : Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)

Essential qualification and experience:

The post has essential Qualification of First Class M.A in Sociology/Social Work or a second class degree in M.A in Sociology/Social Work with PhD with requisite research experience and a minimum of 2 years’ field experience in community development.

The qualification must also include a minimum of 1 year experience of project management with knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research.

Candidates with research experience on substance abuse would be given preference.

Place of Work:

Supervisory role in 8 study Districts: 6 Districts of Assam (Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Cachar, Kamrup (Metro), Nagaon, Karimganj) and 2 Districts of Arunachal Pradesh (Namsai, Changlang)

Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 67,000/- per month 9% HRA = Rs. 73,030 per month.

Essential qualification and experience:

The post has essential Qualification of First Class M.A in Sociology/Social Work or a second class degree in M.A in Sociology/Social Work with PhD and requisite research experience.

The Desirable Qualification is a minimum of 1 years of research experience in community development/ substance abuse.

Place of Work: 4 Districts out of 8 study Districts : 6 Districts of Assam (Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Cachar, Kamrup (Metro), Nagaon, Karimganj) and 2 Districts of Arunachal Pradesh (Namsai, Changlang)

Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- per month 9% HRA = Rs. 61,040 per
month.

Upper age –limit: 35 years

Name of post : Project Technical Support-III

No. of posts : 4

Essential qualification and experience:

The post has essential Qualification of Graduation in Sociology/Social Work with two years of experience, or Post-Graduation in relevant subject/field.

The Desirable Qualification is minimum 1 year field experience in community development/ substance abuse. Candidates with working knowledge of computers and fluency in the local languages spoken in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam would be given preference.

Place of Work: 4 Districts out of 8 study Districts : 6 Districts of Assam (Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Cachar, Kamrup (Metro), Nagaon, Karimganj) and 2 Districts of Arunachal Pradesh (Namsai, Changlang)

The post has essential qualification of graduation in Sociology/Social Work with a minimum of 1 year experience of administrative work.

Candidate must have a typing speed of 35 words per minute.

Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- per month 9% HRA = Rs. 19,620 per month.
