Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in CIT Kokrajhar Assam.

Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Assistant under the DST Funded Project on Science, Technology, and Innovation Hub. Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar is altogether situated in Kokrajhar District of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in Assam. CIT has been established for the basic objective of fulfilling the aspirations of the Bodo People relating altogether to their cultural identity, language, education and overall economic development of the region and to impart Bodo youths with requisite technological and vocational training to produce the required manpower to give the impetus to economic growth of this area and to integrate the Bodo People into the mainstream of Technical and Vocational Education. It is also a Centrally Funded Institute under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Name of post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of posts : 1

Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- 9% HRA per month

Qualification :

1. B.Tech. (CSE/ECE/IE) / M.Tech. (CSE/ECE/IE) from a recognized Institute/ University.
2. First Division or equivalent.
3. Preferably a valid GATE score.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Proficiency in English languages.
2. Strong programming skills with good knowledge of AI, IoT, Website Development and also Database Management.
3. Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and experience in experimental research.
4. Interest in both research and social welfare, as the project involves conducting training for weaker sections of the society.

Emoluments : Rs. 31000/- 9% HRA per month

Name of post : Project Assistant

No. of posts : 2

Emoluments : Rs. 22,000/- per month

Qualification : Post-Graduation in Science (preferably in Agriculture/Agriculture and Rural Development/Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development) with also at least one-year experience. Candidates having proficiency in Bodo, Assamese, English & also Hindi languages and experience on sustainable agriculture will be given priority during selection
