Assam Agricultural University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Administrative Consultant purely on full-time contractual basis under the Directorate of Research (Agri.). Assam Agricultural University is the first institution of its kind in the whole of North-Eastern Region of India. The main goal of this institution is to produce globally competitive human resources in farm sector and to carry out research in both conventional and frontier areas for production optimization as well as to disseminate the generated technologies as public good for benefitting the food growers/produces and traders involved in the sector while emphasizing on sustainability, equity and overall food security at household level.

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Retired government employees with bachelor degree in any discipline
2. Having minimum 20 years of experience in administrative field
3. Retired from the post of Assistant Registrar / Administrative Officer in the Pay Scale Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- GP.Rs. 13,900/-.

Preferred Experience :

1. Should have knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office and E-Office.
2. Should have flair in noting/ drafting and knowledge in Establishment & Finance related rules & regulations, GFR, FRSR etc.
3. Should have work experience in the following fields: General Administration, Personnel matters, Vigilance matters, RTI, Examination of Financial proposals, dealing with Subordinate Offices, Autonomous/ Statutory Bodies etc.

Salary : Rs. 25000/- per month

Age Limit : Not more than 65 years as on 01.08.2024.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 28th August 2024 in the office chamber of the Director of Research (Agri.), AAU, Jorhat.
