Army Institute of Nursing (AIN) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Professor cum Principal. The Army Institute of Nursing, came into being on Aug 1, 2006 at 151 base Hospital Basistha ,Guwahati. It ushered in a new era of imparting professional education in nursing sciences. AIN’s primary aim is to provide a knowledge hub in the field of nursing sciences for the female dependents of Army personnel. AIN is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Assam Nurses Midwives and Health Visitors Council,Assam.AIN is also affiliated to the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria :

Mandatory :

(a) Candidate should have M. Sc. Nursing having total 15 years’ experience with M. Sc. Nursing out of which 10 years after M.Sc. Nursing in collegiate program

(b) Should be less than 53 years of age at time of joining

Preferred :

(a) Candidates having three or more years of PG teaching experience.

(b) Should have expenence/back ground of having handied educational institute.

(c) Candidate having published/carried out independent research work.

(d) Should have Ph D in Nursing

(e) Should have no discipline case dufing previous service with other institutions.

(f) Retd MNS officer.

(g) Should be Medically Fit.

(h) Should be IT Savvy.

Salary : As per AWES rules and reguiations/ negotiable.
