Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam in 2026.
Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Associate-I under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) - India (A Statutory body of the Government of India) sponsored project entitled “Development of integrated approaches to combat destructive tea gray blight disease in India by combining outcomes of pathogen molecular diversity, fungicide sensitivity, microbial antagonists, and virulence factors” in 2026.

Essential Qualification:
1. A Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, OR a Master’s Degree
in Life Sciences/Agricultural Sciences/Botany with specialization in Plant pathology.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Two years Research Experience in tea pathogens identification or related fields.
Fellowship :
(i) Rs. 37,000/- per month + 10% HRA as applicable for candidates with CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
Or
(ii) Rs. 30,000/- per month + 10% HRA as applicable for candidates who do not fall under (i)
Upper Age Limit :
35 years (Age relaxation will be provided as per the ANRF guidelines).
Job Roles :
Project-related Research work. The candidate will have the responsibility of planning the
experimental layout, conducting field trials against major diseases of tea plantations along with report preparation, data compilation, statistical analysis and writing of research paper
