Indian Statistical Institute, North-East Centre (ISI NEC), Tezpur, Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Linked Person (PLE) on the project titled “Urban agglomeration and output growth” in the Socio-Economic Research Unit (SERU) in 2026.

Qualification : Master’s Degree in Economics/Urban Economics/Econometrics or related
discipline from any recognized University/Institute. Candidates appearing/appeared for final semester Master’s examinations can also apply. Knowledge in software is desirable.
Age : Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 August, 2026. Usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ differently abled candidates.
Pay : Rs. 31000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand only) per month (consolidated)
