Seven Sisters Development Assistance (SESTA) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Executive and NoDe Trainer in 2025.
Name of post : Executive (Fractional Fund Raising Hub)
Minimum Qualification: Masters in Development Studies, Social Work, Public Policy, Sociology, Mass Communication & Journalism, and English
Experience : 2 years
Salary : 5.4 LPA
Job Roles :
1. Design and implement fundraising strategies for partner CSOs across the North East.
2. Identify and engage with potential funders — including CSR partners, philanthropists, government programs, and HNIs.
3. Build and maintain a funder engagement database and continuously map donor interests, priorities, and giving trends.
4. Lead matchmaking efforts between CSOs and suitable funders, facilitating proposal submissions and grant conversions.
5. Work closely with partner CSOs (especially those under NoDE and North East Together) to understand their operational models, challenges, and fundraising gaps.
6. Support CSOs in developing flagship, fundable proposals backed by strong narratives and evidence.
7. Facilitate capacity development sessions on storytelling, proposal writing, donor communication, and compliance.
8. Gradually guide CSOs to establish their own in-house fundraising resources over time.
9. Make potential donors aware of the region’s development challenges, key focus areas, and change pathways.
10. Organize roundtables, roadshows, and guided exposures to CSOs’ work.
Name of post : NoDe Trainer
Minimum Qualification: Masters in Development Studies, Social Work, Public Policy/ Public Administration, Sociology, Mass Communication & Journalism qualifications will be given preference
Experience : 1 year
Salary : 4.2 LPA
Job Roles :
1. Training Programme Design & Development-
A. Identify organizational development needs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
B. Design, customize, and develop training programmes based on identified needs.
C. Collaborate with consultants to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
2. Training Delivery -
A. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars (both virtual and in-person).
B. Engage participants through interactive and innovative training methodologies.
C. Adapt training materials and methods to suit different learning styles and participant preferences.
3. Performance Evaluation & Feedback-
A. Assess the effectiveness of training programmes through participant feedback and evaluations.
B. Analyze training outcomes to identify areas for improvement and refine content and delivery methods.
C. Provide constructive feedback to participants to foster continuous learning and development.
4. Other Responsibilities -
A. Support any other tasks assigned by the organization as part of capacity development initiatives.
