Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in IIT Guwahati Assam in 2025.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of JRF (GATE) in the project entitled, “Futuristic risk assessment of temperature-humidity extremes due to climate change on human well-being and energy demand in the Indian sub-continent " at the at the Centre for Sustainable Water Research in 2025.

Qualification :

Post Graduate degree in Water Resources Engg. / Atmospheric Science/ Energy/ Graduate Degree in any Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following-

1. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

2. The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc. Experience in Machine learning, Remote sensing and climate change will be preferred

Selection Procedure :

Candidates have to appear in an online interview, which is scheduled on 10th December 2025 (Wednesday) at 10:00 am. Link will be shared one day before the interview date with the eligible
candidates
