Assam University Diphu is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Research Assistant and Field Investigator under the ICSSR-sponsored Research Project titled “The Contributions of Unsung Assamese Women towards Social Transformation” in 2025.

Name of post : Research Assistant

No. of posts : 1

Salary: Rs. 37,000 per month

Qualifications:

1. Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences/Humanities with a minimum of 55% marks (relaxation as per Government rules) and NET/NESET/Ph.D. in the relevant discipline

2. Proficiency in MS Office, SPSS, or other data analysis software/programming

3. Strong documentation, communication, and interviewing skills

Name of post : Field Investigator

No. of posts : 1

Salary: Rs. 20,000 per month

Qualifications:

1. Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences/Humanities with a minimum of 55% marks

2. Proficiency in MS Office, SPSS, or other data analysis software/programming

3. Strong documentation, communication, and interviewing skills
