Assam Agricultural University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of JRF in the project entitled "Development of high yielding non-lodging and biotic resistant varieties of black scented rice of Manipur and Assam through biotechnological intervention (Scented Rice Group 4 - Phase-II)" in 2025.

Qualification :

M.Sc in Home Science Specialized in Food Science & Nutrition from a recognized University/ Institution and selected through

a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE

b) Through national level examinations conducted by agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.

Desirable: Experience in food product development and analytical works related to foods

Emoluments : Rs. 37,000/- 8% HRA

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 20th November 2025 from 12 Noon onwards in Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam
