Assam University Silchar is inviting applications from eligible candidates in 2025 for recruitment to the posts or career of Guest Faculties on purely temporary basis for the subject specialization of Food Processing for B. Voc. Programme, Department of Agricultural Engineering.

Remuneration: Rs. 1,500/- per lecture with a ceiling of Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Eligibility Criteria :

i) Ph.D or M.Tech/M.Sc./M. Voc. (Food Processing) (with NET) in Processing and Food Engineering/Post Harvest Engineering/Post Harvest Technology/Food Technology/Food
Science.

Desirable:

i) Practical experiences of teaching & handling of Food Processing with documentary proof of
certificate.

ii) Published research papers in peer reviewed/Scopus Indexed/NAAS rated journal.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 16th December 2025 at 11 AM. The venue is in Office of the Nodal Officer, B. Voc. Programme, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Assam University, Silchar
