Applications are invited for recruitment of project based career or vacancy in AIIMS Guwahati Assam in 2025.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the career or vacancy of Project Technical Support -III, purely on a contractual basis in the extramural research project titled "Development of AI Image Binary Classification Algorithm and Validation of Bioimpedance Device to Classify Oral Lesions: A Multi-centric Study in Seven States of Northeast India., sanctioned to Dr. Pakesh Baishya, Associate Professor, Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine in 2025.

Essential Qualification:

Three-year graduate degree in Life Science subjects /Medical Lab Technology/ Biotechnology

Three years of post-qualification experience in relevant subject (from pure Govt/ Govt. recognized, reputed Institute/university)

Or

M.Sc/M.Tech in Life sciences /Biological sciences/ Biotechnology / Medical Lab Technology (from pure Govt/ Govt. recognized, reputed Institute/university)

Desirable qualification:

Work experience in hospital set up, medical laboratories or biomedical research. Fluency in Assamese, English & Hindi. Proficiency in computer applications

Salary: Rs. 28,000/- + 20% HRA = Rs. 33,600/- (per month) approx.

Age : Up to 35 years as on the date of the Interview

Job Roles :

1. Project-related sample collection (oral brush cytology) from the Hospital and community camps and transfer of the same to the laboratory at the Pathology department. Epidemiological and clinical information from subjects as per instruction of investigators.

2. Assist in participant recruitment, informed consent acquisition, and effective communication with families to ensure adherence to study protocols.

3. He /she should operate the bioimpedance device provided by ICMR and need to process the sample for cytological study. Training at ICMR-NIRDHDS, New Delhi. Travel to New Delhi for training is necessary.

4. Office works, lab reporting, maintaining office records (file), preparing documents (using MS office software) etc. will be necessary

5. Data management (paper & software bases) after getting trained.

6. Any other responsibility relevant to the project
