Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Teaching Assistants in the Department of Physical Education in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
1. Masters in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) or Master in Physical Education and Sports (M.P.E.S) for recognized University with atleast 55%Marks in aggregate(50% for SC/ ST/ OBC/candidates)(or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is permissible).
2. The candidate must clear the National Eligibility Test(NET) conducted by the UGC
or who have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission(Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree) Regulations,2009 or 2016 and their amendments form time to as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Desirable Qualification
a) Experience in Teaching, training, or coaching sportspersons participating at National-level or higher competition.
b) Evidence of participation in National or International competitions.
Salary : Rs. 1000/- per class to Maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 24th July 2026. Time of interview is at 10 AM. Venue is in Chamber of Dean, Faculty of Physical Education, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh (Itanagar)
