Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Research Fellow (Temporary) and Project Assistant (Temporary) in the projects entitled "AI Based Imaging Solution For Detection of Pest Attack in Tea leaves using
Aerial Imaging" and “Weed Diversity in Tea Plantations of Assam and West Bengal and Development of Bio-herbicides for an Enriched Integrated Weed Management (IWM) Package in Tea.”

Name of post : Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Science/Entomology

Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Research experience in relevant field.

Monthly Fellowship : Rs.20,000 8% HRA per month for first and second year.

Upper Age Limit : 35 years

Job Roles :

The incumbent will have to involve in overall project related activities, multilocational field trials, extensive field visit to monitor field activities data base generation, analyzing and report preparation.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Agronomy /Weed Science/Botany/ Tea Science/ Soil Science

Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Research experience in Weed science.

Monthly Fellowship : Rs.20,000 8% HRA for 1st and 2nd year. Rs.22,000 8% HRA for 3rd year

Upper Age Limit : 35 years

Job Roles : The incumbent will have to involve in overall project related activities, survey, field trials,
extensive field visit to monitor field activities, data base generation, analyzing and report preparation

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. Botany/ Life Science from recognized university.

Desirable Qualification and Experience: Experience in related field.

Monthly Fellowship : Rs.15,000 per month 8% HRA

Upper Age Limit : 30 years

Job Roles : The incumbent have to involve in botanical extracts preparation, field or farm trials
experiments.
