Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Counselor cum Trainer and Content Creator.

Name of post : Counselor cum Trainer

No. of posts : 1

Salary : Rs. 35,000 - 40,000/-

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Possess a Master’s Degree in Counselling / Clinical psychology or allied sciences from a UGC-recognized University.
2. Prior experience of at least 2 years in counselling preferably with a similar setting.
3. Should be able to offer professional counselling services in English, Hindi and one regional language
4. Be skilled in the use of computers for documentation and data analysis.
5. Be willing to work in shifts on a rotational basis.
6. Comfortable to work on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekly holidays will be mutually decided.
7. Be willing to commit for at least 2 years, and this will be extended depending on the performance

Job Roles :

The candidate shall report directly to the Programme Officers and Programme Associate and
shall be responsible for the following:

1. Answering calls to provide counselling services.
2. Maintaining records, and monthly reports of the calls attended on the helpline service.
3. Collaborate with the team members as well as Supervisors for various tasks related to the helpline calls.
4. To develop training materials, modules, and resources and implement wellness programmes/ workshops and webinars
5. Deliver talks, training, and presentations as per the requirements

Name of post : Content Creator

No. of posts : 1

Salary : Rs. 45,000 - 50,000/-

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Possess a full-time Master’s Degree in Humanities or allied sciences from a UGC-recognized University.
2. Should have a thorough knowledge of Mental Health and
3. Psychosocial well-being of children, young people, families, and communities, prior experience will be preferable.
4. Should possess excellent academic writing skills in English.
5. Ability to translate content into accessible and engaging content.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Should work independently and assist others if required.
