Applications are invited for recruitment of various counselling positions or career in TISS Guwahati Assam.
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Counsellor on contract basis for a period of one year initially and extendable based on performance of the candidate and the requirement of the Institute. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (www.tiss.edu), established in the year 1936, declared as a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, a grant-in-aid Institute under Ministry of Education, Government of India. TISS is a Grade I University with NAAC score of 3.89/4
and is ranked 58 under NIRF University Rank Category for 2022. TISS Guwahati Off-Campus offers academic programmes, such as BASS, M.A., M.A.S.W and PhD. The programmes focus on humanistic aspects of Social Sciences blended with logical reasoning of the natural sciences, and Social Work with a combined emphasis on imagination and creativity as well as of rigorous and critical thinking

Qualification & Experience :
Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology / MA in Counselling / MA in Counselling Psychology with at least 55% aggregate marks from a recognised University
OR
Master’s in Social Work with specialisation in Counselling with atleast 55% aggregate marks from a recognised University
Desirable Qualification :
- Minimum work experience of Counselling for one year.
- Good communication skill in English and Hindi

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 18-09-2024 from 11.30 am onwards at TISS
