Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST sponsored research project entitled, “Development of Infestation Sensor System For Major Millets During Post- Harvest Storage and Their Control Using Emerging Technology” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Nickhil C., Assistant Professor, Department of Food Engineering and Technology.

Essential Qualification:
First class M.Tech. / M.Sc. or equivalent CGPA in Food Engineering / Food Science and Technology / Food Processing / Food Technology with 4 years bachelor’s degree having NET/GATE or similar qualifications as per SERB guidelines.
The candidates having research experience in research experience in grain storage, knowledge of sensor systems and their applications in food storage, proficiency in analytical chemistry and microbiological studies related to post-harvest storage, experience in simulation modelling and CAD design for food storage systems, familiarity with emerging technologies for pest control and post-harvest grain management.
Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees thirty seven thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month.

Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years on the last date of receipt of application.
Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules
