Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in Tezpur University Assam.

Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Student Intern in a DST-SERB funded research project entitled “SWITCHABLE MOLECULAR MAGNETIC MATERIALS” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Nayanmoni Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Sciences. Tezpur University came into being by an Act of Parliament in 1994. The objects of this Central University as envisaged in the statutes altogether are that it shall strive to offer employment oriented and interdisciplinary courses to meet the local and regional aspirations and the development needs of the state of Assam and also offer courses and promote research in areas which are of special and direct relevance to the region and in emerging areas in Science and Technology. Initially, the university also operated from the premises of the Darrang College, in Tezpur. For a while, it also operated from the Tezpur Law College premises. A few months later, the premises of the university was altogether shifted to the present permanent location.

Educational Qualification: Students pursuing M.Sc. in Chemistry from reputed Indian academic institution.

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 28 years on the last date of receipt of application.

Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India rules.

Internship: Rs. 5,000.00 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) per month
