Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST-SERB sponsored research project entitled “Low-Cost, Flexible, and Printable MXene-Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Hybrid Hydrogen Gas Sensors for Next Generation Green Energy Applications” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Pranjal Kumar Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Sciences

Essential Qualification:

Master Degree in Physics/related subjects or M.Tech/ME in Material Science/ Nanotechnology/ Electronics/related subjects from a recognized University with UGC-CSIR NET/GATE or other
equivalent qualifications..

Desirable: Candidate having experience in material characterisation and structural analysis of 2D materials will be preferred.

Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees thirty-seven thousand) only plus 8% HRA as admissible per month for the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 42,000/- (Rupees forty-two thousand) only plus 8% HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year as SRF as per rules.

Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may also be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Shortlisted candidates may appear before the interview board with all original and also self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificates of NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials, passport size photograph, No-objection certificate (if applicable) and
a copy of recent signed curriculum vitae (CV) on the day of interview.
