Applications are invited for recruitment of 47 vacant positions or career in POWERGRID Assam.
POWERGRID Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Engineer in POWERGRID Energy Services Limited (PESL). POWERGRID, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India and also one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the World, is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete Inter-State Transmission System. It operates around 1,78,195 circuit kms of transmission lines along with 279 Sub-stations (as on 30th September 2024) and wheels about 50% of total power generated in the country through its transmission network. PESL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), which came into operation from August 2022. It is is executing critical strategic projects like Solar PV Plants and Automated Metering Infrastructure, and also providing Consultancy services. . As on 1st October 2024, PESL is maintaining assets of 16 TBCB Projects of POWERGRID, which altogether includes 17 nos. of Substations, 96 nos. of Transmission Lines (i.e., about 8,200 ckm).

Essential Qualification :
Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks or also Equivalent CGPA
Disciplines : Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical).
Upper age limit : 28 years as on 06.11.2024
