Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in NLUJA Assam.

National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Driver. The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) has been established by the Government of Assam by way of enactment of the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009 (Assam Act No. XXV of 2009). The word 'School' was replaced by the word 'University' by amending the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam (Amendment) Act, 2012. The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court is the Chancellor of the University. NLUJAA promotes and makes available modern legal education and research facilities to students and scholars drawn from across the country, including the North East, coming from different socio-economic, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds.

Qualification :

1) HSLC/ Metric / 10th Standard pass and shall possess a valid driving license for light motor vehicles.

2) Knowledge of motor mechanism and having at least three years of experience in driving light motor vehicles / motor cars.

Job Responsibilities:

The person engaged as Driver shall perform his duties as assigned by the controlling officer from time to time-

1. Driving a variety of vehicles, such as cars and also ambulances.
2. Performing inspections of vehicles and also equipment

Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 22nd October 2024 at 10.00 a.m. in the 1st Floor, Administrative Block, NLUJA, Assam

How to apply :

Candidates having requisite qualifications and fulfilling other eligibility conditions are to attend the said walk-in-interview along with original and self-attested photocopies of testimonials in support of their qualification, experience as well as No Objection Certificate also from the present employer, if applicable
