Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in NLUJA Guwahati Assam.

National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Library Assistant on contractual basis. The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) has been established by the Government of Assam by way of enactment of the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009 (Assam Act No. XXV of 2009) altogether. The word 'School' was also replaced by the word 'University' by also amending the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam (Amendment) Act, 2012. The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court is the Chancellor of the University altogether. NLUJAA also promotes and makes available modern legal education and research facilities to students and scholars drawn from across the country, including the North East, coming from different socio-economic, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds.

Qualification :

1) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution, preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science also, with good academic record.

2) Knowledge of computerization of Library is essential.

3) Preference will be given to candidate having Post Graduate Degree with previous experiences in this line of work.

Salary : Rs. 22700/- per month

Age Limit : Preferably below 38 years

Job Roles :

i. Automation work in the library (data entry, patron creation etc.)

ii. Renewal Work of periodicals, online databases subscribed by the library

iii. Stock Verification of Library Books etc.

iv. Performing other duties also as assigned by the competent authority from time to time.

Selection Procedure :

A walk-in-interview will be held on 9th May 2024 from 11 AM to 1 PM altogether in the 3rd Floor, Administrative Block, NLUJA, Hajo Road, Amingaon, Guwahati-781031, Assam
