National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Associate-I for the AR&DB
sponsored project entitled "Uncertainty quantification of multiscale flutter analysis of composites" in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Essential Qualification :
B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering or M.E/ M. Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering and related branches of Mechanical Engineering from recognized University. Other terms are
according to DRDO-AR&DB guidelines.
Desirable Experience :
Expertise or strong interest in Design/Manufacturing with experience computer coding in MATLAB and ANSYS/NASTRAN simulation, development and testing of composite will be given preference. Throughout First Class in academic career is preferred

Salary : Rs. 37,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 42000/- per month for 3rd year (GATE qualified candidates will also be given preference)
