Applications are invited for recruitment of various technical positions or career in NIT Silchar Assam.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Associate-I for the DST-SERB (CRG), sponsored project entitled "Sign Language Translator for Identification of Health Conditions of the Deaf and Dumb Population for Medical Attention" in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

No. of posts : 1
Essential Qualification : BE/B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Tech or equivalent degree also in the branches, relevant to the project, from some recognized University.

Desirable Experience : Research/ Project experience in the field of Machine Learning/ Deep Learning
Salary :
i) Rs. 31,000/- per month to scholars who have qualified GATE, NET or any other national level examinations altogether conducted by the Central Govt. Department and their agencies and institutions.
ii) Rs. 25000/- per month for others altogether who don’t fall under (i)
Age Limit :
35 Years (as on closing date of application).
SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per Govt of India Rules.

Interviews may be conducted through online/hybrid mode atogether (depending on the situations), which will be notified in due course of time to shortlisted candidates
Call letter for shortlisted candidates will altogether be sent through email
Employed candidates are also required to submit no objection certificate from his/her employer at the time of interview
