National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of various administrative and technical posts or career on Long Term Contract basis initially for a period of 03 years with a provision for regularization in 2024. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) established by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. It is a premier Institute of Fashion education with 19 Campuses located pan India altogether, namely at New Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kannur, Shillong, Patna, Raebareli, Kangra, Jodhpur, Srinagar, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Daman & upcoming NIFT Varanasi Campus. The Institute is having excellent facilities for Fashion education & Research in Design, Management and Technology altogether. Set up in 1986, NIFT is the pioneering institute of fashion education in the country and has also been in the vanguard of providing professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry. It was made a statutory institute in 2006 altogether by an Act of the Indian Parliament with the President of India as ‘Visitor’ and has full fledged campuses all across the country. Over the years NIFT has also been working as a knowledge service provider to the Union and State governments in the area of design development and positioning of handlooms and handicrafts.
