National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Assistant. National Insurance Company Limited, a Wholly-owned Government of India Undertaking is the oldest Public Sector General Insurance Company in India. It came under the Indian Companies Act, 1882 (at present the Companies Act, 2013) in Kolkata on 5th December, 1906 as a part of the nationalist aspiration for Swaraj. It got registration as a General Insurance Company with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) under the Insurance Act, 1938 vide registration no. 58. After nationalization of general insurance companies under the General Insurance Business Nationalisation Act in 1972, it was merged along with 21 foreign and 11 Indian companies to form National Insurance Company Limited as a subsidiary of the Government owned General Insurance Corporation of India.

Qualification :
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Candidate should also possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01.10.2024.
Knowledge of Reading, Writing and also Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential
