North East Gas Distribution Company Limited (NEGDCL) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Finance Professionals. These are temporary and contractual role on a fixed term basis. Assam Gas Company Limited and Oil India Limited have jointly promoted the North-East Gas Distribution Company Limited (NEGDCL). This entity aims to develop City Gas Distribution networks and CNG Stations in six districts of the North Bank of Assam and six districts in Tripura. NEGDCL is committed to making Natural Gas widely available to the people in its authorized area at an affordable price. The availability of Natural Gas will create an ecosystem that promotes smart urban development, reduces carbon footprints and enhances the overall quality of life. NEGDCL aims to significantly enhance the socio-economic development of the region. As an environmentally friendly and sustainable energy source, natural gas is becoming increasingly popular among small and large commercial enterprises for diverse applications, including cooking, heating, and power generation. Consequently, NEGDCL plays a crucial role in assisting numerous establishments in embracing natural gas as their preferred fuel, aiming to enhance profitability and attain sustainable development. The company is also responsible for distribution of Piped Natural Gas (PNG). PNG is an alternative of LPG cylinders. It which provides 24x7 uninterrupted supply of piped gas with many different benefits as compared to LPG.
