Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in NCERT Assam.
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of one Junior Project Fellow (JPF) for PAC approved project titled 'An Exploratory Study of Integration of Indigenous Sports and Games as Pedagogical Strategies' in Division of Educational Research (DER). The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organisation set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programmes for qualitative improvement in school education. NCERT is an implementation agency for bilateral cultural exchange programmes with other countries in the field of school education. The NCERT also interacts and works in collaboration with the international organisations, visiting foreign delegations and offers various training facilities to educational personnel from developing countries.

Essential Qualification :
Master Degree in Physical Education/ Education/ Science/Social Science/Humanities/ Language with minimum 55% Marks (50% marks in the case of SC/ST/PH)
Desirable :
i) Ph.D./ M. Phil in Physical Education/ Education
ii) Proficiency in computer work
iii) Experience of Research Work/Reporting in English.
Fellowship :
i) Rs. 31000/- per month (Consolidated and fixed) for NET qualified candidates
ii) Rs. 29000/- per month (Consolidated and fixed) for Non-NET

Selection Procedure :
Candidates must appear for a walk-in-interview on 10th May 2024 at 10 AM in Division of Educational Research (DER) Room No. 314, 3 Floor, Zakir Hussain Block, NCERT, New Delhi — 110016.
