Applications are invited for recruitment of various administrative positions or career in NBSSLUP Assam.
National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning (NBSSLUP) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Technical Manpower (YP-I), purely on contractual basis, time bound and non-regular nature under the project entitled "Pilot Project on Crop Diversification" sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. NBSSLUP is one of the fourteen Natural Resource Management (NRM) institutes of the ICAR entrusted to conduct RD&T activities mainly in soil survey, remote sensing applications, land evaluation and also land use planning. Government of India altogether established All India Soil Survey Organisation in 1956. Its headquarters came into being with five Regional Soil Correlation Centres at Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Jorhat and Udaipur. NBBSLUP also became an independent Institute of ICAR in 1969.

Essential Qualification :
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/ Life Sciences/ or Diploma in Agriculture as per ICAR rule
Desirable :
Masters' Degree in Agriculture preferably in Agronomy, Agril. Extension, Agril. Economics, Environmental sciences/ Allied Sciences having field experience in socio-economic and other relevant survey data collection and compilation
Age : Minimum 21 years and Maximum 45 years

The interview dates will be intimated via e-mail altogether for the short-listed candidates to appear in the interview.
